  • Represented 700 former patients who underwent unnecessary invasive heart surgeries at Redding Medical Center, a hospital owned by Tenet Healthcare.
  • Represented more than 13,000 investors in a breach of fiduciary duty and fraud case against Marriott, which arose out of the Courtyard, Fairfield Inn, and Residence Inn limited partnerships.
  • Represented 625 individuals in a health care fraud case against National Medical Enterprises (NME) who claimed that the defendants had bribed psychiatrists to unnecessarily hospitalize them and hold them until the maximum amount of payments could be extracted from their insurance carriers.
  • Represented nearly 12,000 homeowners damaged by polybutylene plumbing systems in fraud and consumer litigation against Shell Celanese and DuPont.
  • Represented 5,800 limited partnership investors who were sponsored and marketed by Prudential-Bache Securities and Graham Energy. Evidence gathered by the legal team of a massive fraud that resulted in substantial losses for hundreds of thousands of investors across the country was turned over to the Securities and Exchange Commission, which ultimately led to recoveries on behalf of tens of thousands of other investors across the county.
